The Real AAU Featuring Crossfire

Crossfire Youth Sports wants to assure you that we take the health, safety and well-being of our athletes and family members very seriously. In recent days, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has had a major impact on the sports world including the NBA and the upcoming NCAA basketball tournament. Everyone, including Crossfire, has a role to play to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the flu, or any other communicable illness.
This is a cooperative effort between our staff, coaches, athletes and parents. At our training facility, Crossfire will take heightened measures to clean the commonly used areas such as meeting areas, bathrooms, drinking fountains, doorknobs, etc. We will certainly monitor the situation and listen to recommended practices from local and national health organizations, and if it becomes clear we need to take any further action, we will do so.
Our coaches will address the COVID-19 situation with their team members and strongly encourage the following common sense precautions when at practice or competitive events. Parents, we ask for your cooperation with ensuring your athlete complies with the precautions below.
  • Please stay home if you experience a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or have become exposed to anyone with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
  • Wash hands before and after practice, and after each match at a tournament.
  • Bring your own source of water to practice and tournaments. Avoid drinking directly from a fountain.
  • Do not share water bottles, lip balm, towels, food items, or anything else with team members.
  • Remind players to avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth.
